Instructions:
Listed below are the items which are to be submitted to the scholarship committee. The scholarship application, applicant’s letter of aspiration, and the letter of recommendation from the pastor are the only required items necessary to complete the application package. All other letters of endorsement are optional. Please ensure check-list accompanies application to indicate what the applicant submitted (and did not submit).

- Attend Interview of Candidate (TBA)
Items to be completed by pastor:
- 1. Letter of Recommendation

This Letter must address the applicant’s qualification: (The following items are suggestions, not requirement)
- name of applicant
- statement of salvation experience
- member’s active role in the local church
- verify tithing participation
- lost all local positions, duties, responsibilities
- *work in any district department
- *work in any jurisdictional department
The president of each department (local, district, or jurisdictional) may submit a formal letter of endorsement on behalf of the applicant. The letter should contain the applicant’s duties and responsibilities along with the length of time the applicant performed in that capacity.
Educational Endorsement
Anyone who has first has firsthand knowledge of the applicant’s educational matriculation, such as a teacher, counselor, or coach, may submit an educational letter of endorsement.
